THE ESSENTIALS
What is Shakeout?

Shakeout is a running app in development that brings an AI running Agent, training plans, a running schedule, Garmin data, and daily insights into one connected experience. It is not publicly available yet.

How will personalized running plans work?

The planned Agent uses your experience, running history, typical weekly mileage, and goals to suggest runs and structured workouts. You can discuss schedule adjustments and review proposed calendar changes before applying them.

Which running workouts and statistics are planned?

The preview includes easy runs, threshold sessions, long runs, and rest days. Planned run insights include pace, distance, duration, intervals, laps, and splits, with pace displayed in min/km or min/mile according to your settings.

How will Garmin sync and recovery insights work?

Shakeout is being developed to sync Garmin runs and recovery data. When relevant information has not been synced, the Agent will request a sync before answering questions about today’s runs or recovery.

Can I use Shakeout with different running experience levels?

The planned setup takes your running background and typical weekly mileage into account. If Garmin history is unavailable, the Agent will ask about your experience so suggestions can start from your own context.

What is the daily running brief?

The planned daily brief brings your training into focus at midnight in your local timezone. A notification will let you know when it is ready and open the relevant screen when tapped.

When can I try Shakeout?

Coming soon. Launch date to be announced. Shakeout is currently in development and is not publicly available. This site previews the experience we’re building.

Do I need Garmin to get started?

The planned setup can ask about your running experience and typical mileage when Garmin data isn’t available. Connecting Garmin is intended to add your runs and recovery data to that context.

Will the Agent change my training automatically?

Proposed calendar changes will be presented for your review. The aim is to help you make informed training decisions with your schedule in view.

Is this the finished app?

No. The interfaces and data here are illustrative previews. Features and the final experience may change during development. Shakeout is not claiming a partnership with Garmin.

A LITTLE MORE DETAIL

Inside the experience.

An Agent with the bigger picture

Designed to learn from your experience, running history, and typical weekly mileage. Without Garmin data, first-time setup will ask about your running background. The Agent can suggest runs, structured workouts, and schedule adjustments, with proposed calendar changes presented for review.

A schedule that fits your way of running

See scheduled, planned, and completed runs; filter by status or see all runs, hide completed runs, and view mileage for your selection. Labeled workout colors distinguish easy, threshold, and rest days. Change reviews use weekday names for runs in the next seven days. Expand long descriptions with “Show more,” add runs manually with flexible duration inputs, and choose whether “Today’s run” appears on your home screen.

Your data, with more useful detail

Planned Garmin syncing brings in runs and recovery data, including intervals, laps, and splits. Pace stays prominent in min/km or min/mile, based on your settings. When relevant data is missing, the Agent will request a sync before answering questions about today’s runs or recovery. Syncing is designed to continue in the background, subject to device and operating-system limits.

Conversations that keep their place

Load previous conversations when you need them and open chat at the current conversation position. Workout suggestions and Agent actions use labels, icons, and color to stand apart from ordinary messages. Agent responses are designed to continue while you navigate elsewhere or background the app, subject to device limits.

Settings and updates that stay in your hands

If a requested feature is disabled, the Agent will explain what needs enabling and provide access to the relevant setting through “Review data settings.” Daily briefs are planned for midnight in your local timezone, with a notification when ready. Tapping app notifications will open the relevant screen.
